Press Release: New CIO at BBC Group as of September 1, 2022

As of September 1, 2022, Mr. Thomas Stadler has joined the BBC Group management team as the new Group CIO.

Mr. Stadler was most recently Head of IT and Chief Digital & Innovation Officer at Bouygues E&S inTec Management AG and looks back on 25 years of experience in the IT environment. "With Thomas Stadler, we are pleased to have gained someone who is well acquainted with both the current and international challenges of IT as well as the industrial SME environment," says Dr. Jan Scheffler, CEO of BBC Group.

Together with the BBC IT team, Thomas Stadler will continue the adopted IT strategy and accompany the business units of the BBC Group on their path of digital transformation as an "enabler".
